<div data-v-0e62ab25="" class="flex xs12"><div data-v-0e62ab25="">Working as part of a wider team, you will work together to follow the cleaning schedules to ensure we meet our SLA's. On a weekly basis you can expect to clean: <ul type="disc"><li style="font-size: 16px;">Wipe down, dust and hoover stairs and corridors</li></ul> <ul type="disc"><li style="font-size: 16px;">Lounge/Dining Room</li></ul>      Dust      Wipe down and sanitise surfaces, tables, TV’s, light switches and door handles<ul type="disc"><li style="font-size: 16px;">Clean the kitchen</li></ul>      Wipe down all surfaces, cupboard doors and sink      Mop the floors      Clean ovens, microwave, kettle and toaster<ul type="disc"><li style="font-size: 16px;">Clean the bathroom</li></ul>      Clean shower and/or bath, sink, toilet      Clean mirrors and shower glass      Mop the floors<ul type="disc"><li style="font-size: 16px;">Hoover throughout</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Empty bins</li></ul> On a monthly basis, you will also:<ul type="disc"><li style="font-size: 16px;">Deep Clean Carpets with use of Vac machine.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Defrost and deep clean fridge/freezer</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Clean internal windows</li></ul> We will supply all the products and equipment you need and also provide full health and safety/COSHH training to ensure you are working in a safe manner. It goes without saying, you will take a huge amount of pride in your work and have the highest standards in your work.  You are likely to have worked in a domestic or commercial cleaning role before and be confident and comfortable working in an highly diverse and varied role where genuinely no day is ever the same!   We hope you will see this role as a way of supporting our residents and have the patience and understanding to support their journey to independent living beyond their time with us.  You will get to know our residents as you visit their home and we hope you would foster a positive, and trusted relationship.  We would also want you to know you could report anything that gave you concern about their well-being or safety knowing that we would be able to intervene and support them should they need it. There might be occasion where you are lone working so we use the People Safe app to ensure your safety while in the properties.   This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service.
