<div data-v-0e62ab25="" class="flex xs12"><div data-v-0e62ab25=""><p id="isPasted">Are you an experienced Climbing Instructor looking for a new role?<br>&nbsp;</p><p>We have a new role within our Climbing Centre and are looking for a Climbing Instructor to join us on a permanent basis, working 37.5 hour per week including weekends.</p><p><br></p><p>As a Climbing Instructor, you will support all operational areas within the Climbing Centre focusing on sharing your knowledge and expertise, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the health &amp; safety of all our climbers and visitors.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>You will also:&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><ul type="disc"><li>Ensure that all operating procedures are adhered to, with no compromises to health and safety, ensuring that all climbers have completed/obtained the necessary pre-session requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintaining the highest customer service standards&nbsp;</li><li>Ensuring that all necessary checks are carried out regularly on all climbing walls and equipment.</li><li>Help to plan and reset climbing and bouldering routes on a regular basis to keep the climbing facility fresh and interesting for visitors.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure the Climbing Centre is clean and tidy for visitors.&nbsp;</li><li>Dealing with accidents and incidents as they arrive, recording appropriately.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with staff training and development where required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>From your previous climbing instructor experience, you will be hands on to instruct adults and children of all abilities. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>About You&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are looking for someone with a really unique mix of skills to work this fantastic venue. You will have experience of working in the climbing wall industry. You will be a passionate and experienced climber first and foremost who has turned their passion into a career.&nbsp;</p><p>You will hold relevant climbing instructor qualifications and first aid. We are though, most interested in your relevant experience!&nbsp;</p><p>We are also committed to your continual development and can offer you further training and qualifications if desired to fulfil your greatest potential.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service.
