With experience in either café style kitchen or larger restaurant kitchen, you will be comfortable working as part of a small team where team spirit is everything.&nbsp;</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">This is a busy and varied role and you must be able to flexible to meet the needs of the kitchen on any given day.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">From your experience, you will have a strong awareness of current food industry product trends as well as a good working knowledge of Health and Safety and Food and Drink preparation practices; being Advance Hygiene Qualified or CIEH Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualified and/or holding NVQ Level 2&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">Food Preparation or equivalent qualification is desirable.&nbsp;</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">As to be expected with a role of this nature, evenings and weekends shifts will form the majority of your shifts.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size: 16px;">This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service.
