<div data-v-0e62ab25="" class="flex xs12"><div data-v-0e62ab25=""><p id="isPasted">Do you love working with children but looking for a role to fit around your own studies or other commitments? &nbsp;Are you available to work between 7.30am - 9am or 2.45pm - 6pm Monday to Friday but with flexibility to select the shifts that work best for you?</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are recruiting for Casual Play Leaders to support the running of our after school clubs across Wollaton and Sherwood for children aged 4 – 11 year olds based within a school setting.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you have any experience of working with children and are looking for a way to gain more experience with the bonus of earning money and making a difference, this could be the perfect role for you.</p><p><br></p><p style="box-sizing: inherit; background-repeat: no-repeat; padding: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 16px;" id="isPasted">We would share the rota with you for you to be able to select the shifts you are able to cover. While we try to give notice, there will always be a need to be flexible to cover last minute absence.</p><p><br></p><p style="box-sizing: inherit; background-repeat: no-repeat; padding: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 16px;" id="isPasted">We can also offer additional hours during the school holidays working at our summer holiday club Camp Williams, if you are available and wish to work in the school holidays too.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>You will be an energetic, passionate individual who loves children, loves playing and creating games and activities to give them an enjoyable experience.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>As part of a team, you will lead exceptional play activities, make sure they meet a high standards of play through a fun, safe and positive programme of activities.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>You will have brilliant communication skills and you will have an excellent rapport with parents and carers, children, colleagues, and school staff alike.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>You’ll champion our Core Values of Caring, Respect, Responsibility and Honesty throughout the play you deliver, and ensure the wellbeing and happiness of children is always put first.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are looking for someone with experience of working with school age children with a strong awareness of safeguarding.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are also able to offer additional hours working at our school holiday club, Camp Williams and even breakfast club in the mornings.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you have had experience of working with children either in another after school club, brownies or beavers, gymnastics or sports clubs or anything similar, we would love to hear from you!</p><p>This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service.
