<p>We are looking to recruit a Canteen Supervisor who will be responsible for preparing hot & cold food as well as supervising our canteen at our distribution centre in Bristol, Avonmouth.</p><p>We offer a permanent Full Time position working a variety of shifts between 6am - 6pm (6am - 2pm, 8am - 4pm, 10am - 6pm) any 5 days from 7 (Including Weekends). </p><p><strong>Pay, working hours & benefits:</strong></p><p>We offer an hourly pay rate of £15.71 and you will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. If you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the below.</strong></p><p>- Supervise all colleagues working in the canteen. </p><p>- Order all food items to stock the canteen. </p><p>- Ensure that the canteen is re-stocked as necessary. </p><p>- Monitor the items to ensure the canteen is not over stocked. </p><p>- Ensure that all hazardous materials are safely stored. </p><p>- Ensure that the canteen areas provide a safe working environment for all. </p><p>- Ensure that all health regulations are complied with. </p><p>- Maintain appropriate canteen records as required. </p><p>- To maintain good order in dining areas.</p><p>- Coordinate the daily operation of the canteen and oversee the preparation of food and counter services.</p><p>- Identify stock requirements and place orders with appropriate vendors on a regular basis.</p><p>- Participate in regular stocktake, recording and reporting processes.</p><p>- Maintain accurate and appropriate records for the canteen and associated catering operations including filing of ordering, receipt and associated documentation.</p><p>- Ensure food storage and handling is appropriate, hygienic and in accordance with the standards outlined by health controlling authorities within relevant legislation and regulations.</p><p><strong>About You:</strong></p><p>This is a busy canteen, so the ability to work under pressure without supervision is essential.
