This growing food and drink business is expanding its commercial team and is searching for a Business Development Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, sales-led environment. If you love opening doors, building relationships, and driving new business, this could be the right move.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">The company operates within premium food and drink, supplying customers across hospitality, foodservice, independent retail, wholesalers and specialist distributors.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">As the new Business Development Manager, you'll focus purely on generating and converting new opportunities. That means owning the sales cycle, building a strong pipeline, and bringing on board high-value customers across multiple channels. It's a role for someone who's hungry, proactive, and loves the buzz of winning.</span></p><p><strong><span style="font-size: 8pt;">You'll:</span></strong></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Identify, approach, and convert new business within hospitality, foodservice, retail and wholesale.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Manage the full sales process from outreach to close.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Build strong, long-term relationships with chefs, purchasing teams, and decision-makers.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Deliver product presentations, tastings, and visits to drive engagement.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Keep CRM, pipeline, forecasting and reporting up to date.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Spot new opportunities through market insights, competitor awareness and customer trends.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.</span></p><p><strong><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Requirements:</span></strong></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· At least 2 years in field sales or business development, ideally within food, drink, hospitality or FMCG.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Confident communicator with strong pitching and closing ability.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Highly proactive, target-driven, and commercially sharp.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Able to manage a busy pipeline, prioritise effectively, and stay organised.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Passion for premium food and drink categories is a bonus but not essential.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">· Energetic, tenacious, and motivated by results.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">If you're a Business Development Manager who loves winning new business and enjoys working with premium products, this one is worth exploring.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">BH<span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">34976</span></span></p></dd>
