<dt class="rm-fieldTitle">Description</dt><dd class="rm-fieldData"><p><span class="">Assistant Merchandiser | Manchester | Reduced Hours &amp; Hybrid Working </span><br class="">Right now, we have an amazing opportunity for an equally amazing Assistant Merchandiser to join a growing team with some exciting projects and plans to get involved with. </p><p class="">As their Assistant Merchandiser you'll be right at the heart of how they trade with balancing insight, analysis, and action to make sure their product gets in front of their customers, on time and in the right volumes.<br class=""><br class="">You'll support the Merchandisers trading, planning, and stock management, while also guiding a Merchandising Admin Assistant to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day processes.</p><h3 class=""><span class="">As the Assistant Merchandiser, you will: </span></h3><ul class=""><li class="">Lead the creation of Monday Trade Reports, delivering sharp weekly insights that highlight risks, uncover opportunities, and influence commercial decisions.</li><li class="">Spot highs and lows in trade, suggesting key actions to optimise performance.</li><li class="">Support the Merchandiser with pre-season and in-season planning, ensuring ranges are both ambitious and achievable.</li><li class="">Own and manage the critical path, flagging delays and keeping all deliveries on track.</li><li class="">Raise and track Purchase Orders (POs)</li><li class="">Ensure accuracy across buy sheets, barcodes, shipments, delivery trackers, pricing and supplier requests </li><li class="">Work closely with the production merchandising team to track intake, manage delivery slots, and keep key launches on schedule.</li><li class="">Maintain and update WSSI and line cards, reviewing sales and stock actions with a commercial eye.</li><li class="">Provide ad hoc analysis across categories to support data-driven decisions for the wider business.</li><li class="">Support seasonal reporting packs and post-season analysis, pulling together insights and commentary for leadership.</li><li class="">Collaborate with Buying, Ecommerce, Logistics, and Marketing to ensure merchandising is central to the wider business strategy.</li><li class="">Help manage the workload and priorities of the Merchandising Admin Assistant, mentoring and guiding them in their development.</li></ul><h3 class=""><span class="">What we're hoping you have: </span></h3><ul class=""><li class="">At least 1 - 2 year's experience as a Trainee Merchandiser or Merchandising Admin Assistant (or already at AM level).</li><li class="">Strong Excel skills - pivot tables, V - lookups, and confident data manipulation</li><li class="">Naturally analytical, detail-driven, and commercially aware.</li><li class="">Organised, proactive, and able to take ownership of projects.</li><li class="">A confident communicator, able to influence and build relationships across teams.</li><li class="">Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embraces change with a problem-solving mindset.</li></ul><p> </p><p>BBBH34490</p></dd>
