We’re looking for an <strong>Allocator</strong> to join our brilliant <strong>Business Development team</strong> here at <strong>cardfactory</strong>.</p><p>You’ll play a key role in making sure our partners get the stock they need, when they need it – helping us deliver fantastic customer service every single day. This role is all about working closely with the wider Partnerships team to keep things running smoothly, especially during seasonal events and exciting new store launches. If you’re organised, proactive, and ready to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you!</p><p>This is a hybrid role based at our Wakefield Head Office, just off Junction 31 of the M1, with 2–3 days a week spent in the office.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing:</strong></p><p>Managing customer stock at both product and store level, you’ll be making sure everything is where it needs to be. You’ll work on improving forecast accuracy, which helps guide stock buys and markdowns, always looking for ways to make things better. Each week, you’ll produce reports that support the Merchandise and Accounts teams by tracking availability, deliveries, and operational costs.</p><p>You’ll also support the Assistant Merchandiser and the Supply Chain Team in planning customer picking and delivery schedules. By reviewing future sales demand at store level, you’ll help maximise availability and reduce the risk of stock write-offs. You’ll make sure new ranges and seasonal launches are delivered on time and are available in stores when they should be.</p><p>Keeping our systems accurate will be part of your day-to-day, which means maintaining correct stock records and processing any adjustments properly.
