Based from our office in Howden, Yorkshire or Northampton you will be the subject matter expert (SME) supporting the delivery of Non-Functional Test requirements.</p><p>This is a permanent full time opportunity based onsite 4 days with 1 day from home. Applicants must live within a commutable distance to either Howden or Northampton.</p><p>What will I be doing.</p><ul><li>Create a Performance catalogue to frame current assets and coverage by System</li><li>Working with Service Delivery, System &amp; Product owners propose additional Systems coverage</li><li>Execute, maintain existing Performance packs</li><li>Schedule, communicate and ‘book out’ Test Harnesses and other assets giving visibility in Project Server</li><li>Analyse changes, understand requirements, undertake initial Performance assessments</li><li>Support in the creation of Performance Test Approaches and identification of Test scope</li><li>Present benefits cases of Internal options vs. External options as appropriate for delivery</li><li>Plan and Develop performance test approaches and scenarios using JMeter and Neoload</li><li>Execute Load, stress and capacity tests across SAP, Web and API based applications</li><li>Input to the creation of Statements of Work (SoW)</li><li>Maintain Performance Testing Toolset (Tricentis Neoload, Controller, Injectors &amp; Protocol bundles)</li><li>Manage and control user provisioning, access levels, starters/leavers process for owned tools</li><li>Use application performance monitoring tools (e.g., <strong>SAP Solution Manager</strong>, <strong>AppDynamics, Grafana</strong>) to correlate test results with system metrics</li></ul><p>What we need from you</p><ul><li>3+ years of hands-on Performance Testing experience</li><li>Strong expertise in Neoload ,Jmeter and Loadrunner</li><li>Experience of Performance testing SAP applications</li><li>Creating, maintaining and executing Performance packs</li><li>Working in a multi-development method environment with Agile &amp; Waterfall methodologies</li><li>In depth knowledge of the Test process with detailed knowledge of non-Functional requirements coverage (NFR’s)</li><li>Risk mitigation approaches to reach appropriate levels dependant on time, cost &amp; quality dimensions</li><li>Advanced understanding of planning Metrics used to create Performance estimates</li><li>Working up requirements from inception to proposal from variety of sources e.g. user stories, NFR’s</li><li>Creation of Test Approaches and identification of Test scope, including Test data &amp; Environmental requirements (e.g. data creation, seeding, recovery points, server sizing, tuning)</li><li>Presenting proposals and benefits cases</li><li>Working with 3rd party Service Providers</li><li>Strong analytical skills and methodical approach to problem solvin</li></ul><p>What we can offer you</p><ul><li>Competitive salary and annual company bonus</li><li>Excellent pension scheme (company contribution of up to 12%)</li><li>25 days holiday + bank holidays with the option to buy additional days</li><li>Staff Discount</li><li>Employee Assistance Programme</li><li>Exceptional Reward and Recognition events</li></ul><p><strong>About Howdens:</strong></p><p>Howdens Joinery is the UK’s number one trade kitchen supplier providing thousands of products across kitchens, joinery, and hardware.&nbsp; We have over 900 depots throughout the UK and Europe – making us the first choice for more than 460,000 loyal trade professionals.&nbsp;&nbsp;Last year our sales reached circa 2.3bn, and we have an ambitious growth agenda.&nbsp;</p><p>As well as the opportunity to develop within a fast paced and commercial environment, you will be part of a rewarding organisation recognised for excellence in the workplace in the&nbsp;<em>Best Big Companies to Work For.</em></p><p><strong>How to apply</strong></p><p>We’re building a future where world-class service, innovation, and sustainability are embedded within our DNA.
