We’re proud to have won national awards including Best UK Workplace 2023, Best UK Workplace for Women 2023 and Excellence in Wellbeing awards 2023.<br>&nbsp;<br>We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail Team Leader to join our Sundries section at our Cheltenham store with a focus on Stock Control and Process Improvements.<br>&nbsp;<br>Duties include:<ul><li>Motivating and inspiring the team to drive and increase sales.</li><li>Leading the team to ensure that individuals possess a high level of product knowledge, and they perform in an effective and responsible manner in line with company policies and procedures.</li><li>Manage staff rotas, working hours, absence and holiday requests.</li><li>Stock ordering and replenishment to ensure products are displayed correctly and to the highest level.</li><li>To lead and oversee the perpetual stock counting process, ensuring accurate stock levels and system integrity, while supervising and supporting small team.</li><li>Accurate receipting of Goods Inwards deliveries in accordance with Company processes</li><li>Liaising with 'other departments'/'buying and Accounts teams' to resolve queries within a timely manner.</li><li>Raising/communicating delivery discrepancies with suppliers within the specified timeframes.</li><li>Assisting and advising customers about products.</li><li>Create inspirational visual merchandising to keep the displays relevant to seasons and events.</li><li>Support ongoing store communications ensuring team members are aware of current and planned activity, new or amended procedures and newly launched products.</li></ul>&nbsp;<br>The successful candidates must have:<ul><li>Strong IT skills and an analytical approach to support effective stock management and data accuracy – a sound understanding of warehousing systems would be desirable.</li><li><a name="Hlk156887943">Commercially astute, ensuring accurate Inventory availability and stock replenishment.</a></li><li>High attention to detail, a team player who works with integrity and looks to identify continuous process improvements.</li><li>Experience of training team members in the use of IT systems.</li><li>Strong retail sales experience and great customer service skills. You will enjoy customer interactions and be able to build rapport quickly.</li><li>Confidence in approaching and engaging with customers with your naturally outgoing, positive personality. You’ll listen, ask questions and provide trusted, enthusiastic advice.</li></ul>&nbsp;<br>This is a full time and permanent position, working on average 39.5 hours per week on a 2-week rota.
