This is a key moment in our journey – we're wrapping up a multi-year digital transformation and embarking on the next big phase: designing and building a completely new customer loyalty proposition.You'll work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to roadmap features, shaping product direction, and collaborating with a passionate, cross-functional team.<h4 data-start="1638" data-end="1665">What You'll Be Doing</h4><ul data-start="1667" data-end="2265"><li data-start="1667" data-end="1743">Write, test, and deliver high-quality software with real customer impact</li><li data-start="1744" data-end="1829">Collaborate with product and engineering peers to build and ship roadmap features</li><li data-start="1830" data-end="1913">Take ownership of your work – and contribute across the full stack where needed</li><li data-start="1914" data-end="1978">Ensure your code is reliable, scalable, and easy to maintain</li><li data-start="1979" data-end="2037">Engage in proactive monitoring and incident resolution</li><li data-start="2038" data-end="2106">Mentor junior engineers and share best practices within the team</li><li data-start="2107" data-end="2190">Bring new ideas and learning into the team – and stay curious about what's next</li><li data-start="2191" data-end="2265">Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li></ul></div></div><div class="earcuposdescription"><div class="earcuposdescriptiontitle">Key requirements:</div><div class="earcuposdescriptionnote"><ul><li>Fluent in Java (11+) and the Spring Framework specifically SpringBoot or similar (Quarkus, Micronaut)</li><li>Strong understanding of HTTP and REST as an architectural style to build APIs.</li><li>Fluent with asynchronous programming techniques and frameworks (in Java).</li><li>Fluent in SQL and experience with RDBMS like Postgres and Oracle.</li><li>Experience with Docker and docker-compose.</li><li>Exposure to AWS specifically S3, Aurora, ElasticCache</li><li>Exposure to modern CI/CD platforms like Gitlab (or similar GitHub Actions, CircleCI)<ul><li>Understands the importance of monitoring and proactive in resolving critical issues.</li></ul></li><li>Fluent in testing frameworks Junit, RestAssured</li></ul>Desirable:<ul><li style="list-style-type: none;"><ul><li>Exposure with monitoring and alerting platforms.
