Your duties will encompass a wide range of tasks focused on the upkeep and improvement of our facilities, providing a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for our customers and staff.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan and oversee the maintenance of the driving range, including turf and equipment.</li><li>Operate and maintain irrigation and drainage systems effectively.</li><li>Manage weed, pest, and disease control to ensure the health of our golfing environment.</li><li>Maintain car park, driveway, paths, and walkways to the highest standards.</li><li>Regularly report on the golf course's condition.</li><li>Promote environmental sustainability and best practices.</li><li>Supervise turf maintenance, ensuring a pristine playing surface.</li><li>Oversee the preparation and maintenance of machinery for use and storage.</li><li>Ensure the availability of products necessary for maintenance.</li><li>Lead waste/debris clearance and general site cleanliness.</li><li>Champion health, safety, and security measures, conducting risk assessments and promoting awareness among staff and golfers.</li><li>Liaise with staff, management, and golfers to ensure smooth communication and operations.</li><li>Conduct regular safety checks and cooperate with government inspectors and HR to uphold safety standards.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>The Candidate:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a golfing environment.</li><li>Strong communication skills, capable of effectively coordinating with team members and management.</li><li>A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.</li><li>A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of work and safety.</li><li>Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the ability to conduct risk assessments.</li><li>Physical ability to perform manual tasks and operate maintenance equipment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Step into a role at American Golf as our next Ranger.
