With a passion for exceptional service, and a love for ourproduct, our team is dedicated to offering the best customer experience –nothing is too much trouble.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><b>Purpose of the role: </b></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Reporting to the IT Director this is role is to implement deliveryprocesses and practices within the IT department, demonstrating how value canbe delivered quickly and safely to the business. The delivery lead will helpbuild a high performing team, focusing on the right problems and priorities,removing obstacles and helping the team gain momentum and progress. Thedelivery lead will have a good understanding of how work flows through the ITteam, and our suppliers, and create transparency to the business of what isbeing accomplished by the team.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><b>Responsibilities:</b></span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"></p><ul><li><span>Take responsibility of delivery,working closely with the Business Analysts, Project Manager and Suppliers.</span></li><li>Coach and mentor the Project Manageron the which best practices and processes need to become habits for the ITTeam, after the contract has been completed.</li><li>Understanding any blockers andconstraints.</li><li>Creating transparency of the work withinthe IT team, including change requests and projects allocated to suppliers.</li><li>Limiting the work in progress toenable the team to complete the highest priority work.</li><li>Introduce and facilitate stand-ups,retrospectives, feedback loops and improvement initiatives.</li><li>Setting realistic target dates andmilestones for deliverables.</li></ul><div><b>Deliverables:</b></div><p class="MsoNormal"><span>Youwill deliver the following:</span></p><div><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"></p><ul><li><span>Anorganised and managed backlog of work, which the business has full transparencyon, cost, effort, deliverables, dates.</span></li><li>Implement best practices for managing the throughput of the team and controlling work inprogress.</li></ul><div><b>Key Skills & Experience:</b></div><div><ul> <li class="MsoNormal">Defining the right practices to help a teams throughput, rather than an Agile playbook.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Delivering work with partners, rather than in-house development teams.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Delivery patterns such as Kanban, ScrumBan, Waterfall, understanding one size doesn’t fit all.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Reducing complexity.</li> <li class="MsoNormal">Working in the open, surfacing hidden work.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><div class="msocomtxt"><p class="MsoCommentText"></p></div></div></div></div></div></div><!----><!---->
