Support the protection of key assets by promoting best-in-class health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with internal policies and current legislation.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Advise and support club management on all health, safety, and welfare matters.</li><li><p>Conduct and review risk and fire risk assessments, ensuring compliance with legal standards (e.g. RR(FS)O 2005).</p></li><li><p>Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and preventative actions.</p></li><li><p>Deliver training on fire safety, evacuation procedures, and H&amp;S compliance (e.g., Fire Wardens, First Aid, RLSS).</p></li><li><p>Perform site inspections, audits, and contractor compliance checks.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate H&amp;S records including incidents, asbestos, training, and water quality.</p></li><li><p>Support Legionella control, water sampling, and pool safety compliance.</p></li><li><p>Respond to H&amp;S complaints and support liability claims reviews.</p></li><li><p>Liaise with internal teams (Ops, Maintenance) and external authorities (EHOs, Fire Services).</p></li><li><p>Manage compliance with company H&amp;S checklists, policies, and operating procedures.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate Thrive e-learning and ensure all staff are trained and certified appropriately.</p></li><li><p>Lead H&amp;S readiness for new sites and refurbishments (Elevations).</p></li><li><p>Host toolbox talks and virtual seminars to reinforce safety knowledge.</p></li><li><p>Act as the first point of contact for all leisure H&amp;S concerns.</p></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Essential:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Minimum 2–3 years in an Operational Management role</p></li><li><p>Strong communication, training, and interpersonal skills.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and data reporting.</p></li><li><p>Full clean UK driving licence.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li><p>NEBOSH National General Certificate (or Level 3 equivalent).</p></li><li><p>Fire Risk Assessor qualification (BAFE or IFE standard).</p></li></ul><ul><li>Experience in leisure/fitness industry preferred.</li><li><p>Audit and investigation experience.</p></li><li><p>Strong presentation and risk assessment skills.</p></li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Along with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues:</p><p><strong>Reward, Recognition and Opportunities</strong></p><p><strong>Frasers Champion</strong>- Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work.
