Support the protection of key assets by promoting best-in-class health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with internal policies and current legislation. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Advise and support club management on all health, safety, and welfare matters.</li><li>Conduct and review risk and fire risk assessments, ensuring compliance with legal standards (e.g. RR(FS)O 2005).</li><li>Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and preventative actions.</li><li>Deliver training on fire safety, evacuation procedures, and H&S compliance (e.g., Fire Wardens, First Aid, RLSS).</li><li>Perform site inspections, audits, and contractor compliance checks.</li><li>Maintain accurate H&S records including incidents, asbestos, training, and water quality.</li><li>Support Legionella control, water sampling, and pool safety compliance.</li><li>Respond to H&S complaints and support liability claims reviews.</li><li>Liaise with internal teams (Ops, Maintenance) and external authorities (EHOs, Fire Services).</li><li>Manage compliance with company H&S checklists, policies, and operating procedures.</li><li>Coordinate Thrive e-learning and ensure all staff are trained and certified appropriately.</li><li>Lead H&S readiness for new sites and refurbishments (Elevations).</li><li>Host toolbox talks and virtual seminars to reinforce safety knowledge.</li><li>Act as the first point of contact for all leisure H&S concerns.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3>Essential:<ul><li>Minimum 2–3 years in an Operational Management role</li><li>Strong communication, training, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and data reporting.</li><li>Full clean UK driving licence.</li></ul>Desirable:<ul><li>NEBOSH National General Certificate (or Level 3 equivalent).</li><li>Fire Risk Assessor qualification (BAFE or IFE standard).</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in leisure/fitness industry preferred.</li><li>Audit and investigation experience.</li><li>Strong presentation and risk assessment skills.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3>Along with your benefits package we also offer a wide range of perks for our colleagues:Reward, Recognition and OpportunitiesFrasers Champion- Our employees are at the heart of our business and we ensure individuals are recognised every single month for their hard work.
