We encourage entrepreneurial ideas and accountability at all levels.</p><p><strong>Who you are:</strong> </p><p>You’ll be a creative and motivated Graphic Design graduate, eager to learn and grow within the fashion industry. You will have completed a Print, Graphics or Fashion related degree and have a passion for surface pattern and colour. Whilst some experience is preferable, it’s not required. If you are hardworking, have initiative, and a passion for design, we would love to hear from you! </p><p><strong>Primary objective of the job:</strong> </p><p>You will be working closely with the Menswear Print & Design Team to assist in all aspects of the design process and seamless running of the design department. You will be working predominantly with the Design Team across Menswear print and Graphics, as well as supporting Accessories. </p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong> </p><ul><li>Researching key trends, colours and graphic inspiration to assist in the creation of innovate and individual designs.</li></ul><ul><li>Assisting with the production of graphic artworks including tiling, colour separating and factory technical packs. Proficiency in photoshop and illustrator is required. </li></ul><ul><li>Keeping up-to-date colour palettes & boards for each collection, ensuring that palettes are available to everyone, boards are updated regularly and in time for key meetings and that our Pantone inventory is kept stocked. </li></ul><ul><li>Working with the Print Designer to correctly format and file graphics pages with all key information relating to scale, colour and graphic name. </li></ul><ul><li>Working with the Senior Menswear Designer on new ideas, shapes and techniques for graphic design to bring newness to the range, as well as general assistance in the running and organization of the department. </li></ul><ul><li>Updating graphic trackers with all key information to help manage the volume of artworks and gain visibility of hit rate. </li></ul><ul><li>Liaising with factories and supplier contacts to check on sampling status/graphic queries. </li></ul><ul><li>Keeping an up-to-date record of collection photographs/ story boards after range review sign off meetings for future reference and distributing to relevant team members. </li></ul><ul><li>Keeping an up-to-date record of all bought samples and bought graphics, as well as freelancer artworks. </li></ul><ul><li>Maintaining the graphic archive by correctly filing and hanging bought/vintage samples, artworks and hangers. </li></ul><ul><li>Working with the Design Assistant to store and file design boards, keeping a record of any that are dismantled for future reference. </li></ul><ul><li>Assisting with Garment CAD’s - It is important that you will be proficient on Adobe Illustrator to create flat Garment CAD’s that can be filled with graphics & colour. This will also include assisting with CAD’s for our Wholesale Team / creating range plans & adding garment names with item codes to hand over to our Wholesale customers. </li></ul><ul><li>Helping to keep range sheets up to date after range review sign off meetings when required. </li></ul><ul><li>General admin including ordering stationary/paper and post being sent out to suppliers - keeping records of AWB numbers for tracking.
