Want to join in?  <div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Why this role matters</h2></div><div>This job is critical in supporting the Consumer division to ensure that contact centre operations are effectively and efficiently identifying the correct engineer to resolve customer issues 1st time, contributing to our aim of Number 1 for Service. You will have ownership of revenue leakage through Credits and Goodwill targets, driving reduction in credit per call handled metrics and implementing targets for the operation. Working with the Senior Finance Manger this role will identify operational efficiency opportunities, review Business Cases (including Simplify) to ensure we continue to reduce Engineering costs and reduce revenue leakage.</div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">What you'll be doing</h2></div><div><ul><li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Commercial business partner to the Senior Business Partnering & Commercial Finance Manager</li><li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Wholly responsible for the recommendation of budget EBITDA Engineering targets and production of the budget.</li><li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Accountable for the reporting, monthly forecasting and tracking of financial performance of the Engineering & Compensation areas.</li><li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Develop cost driver models to articulate variances to budget via operational metrics to drive efficiency.</li><li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Compare and contrast across brands and within brands to highlight areas of inefficiency.</li><li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Highlight any risks and opportunities to financial targets.</li><li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Owner of business case sign-off.</li></ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Benefits</h2></div><div><ul type="disc"><li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">10% on target bonus</li><li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">BT Pension scheme, minimum 5% Employee contribution, BT contribution 10%</li><li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">From January 2025, equal family leave:  receive 18 weeks at full pay, 8 weeks at half pay and 26 weeks at the statutory rate.
