From working on exciting new projects to fine-tuning existing features, you’ll be hands-on with the systems that power around 30% of Booker Group’s sales.&nbsp;</p><p>You'll collaborate closely with the Booker Digital team, making sure our online platforms are slick, secure, and always one step ahead of customer expectations.</p><h2>You will need</h2><ul><li>Previous experience of working in an IT or Technical role (ideally at least&nbsp;2 years of experience in a similar role).</li><li>Good practical experience of web technologies like HTML, XML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript etc.</li><li>Knowledge of PHP including Twig templating is desirable.</li><li>A basic understanding of Linux based commands preferably Redhat.</li><li>Experience of using system performance tools such as Datadog and Google Analytics.</li><li>Proven experience of using testing and issue management tools&nbsp;such as Jira.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of web site analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.</li></ul><h2>What's in it for you</h2><p>At Booker, along with being a great place to work and giving you an opportunity to get on in your career, we also offer the following fantastic package of benefits:</p><ul><li>A Booker colleague card with 10% off purchases at Booker and double discount events up to three times a year.</li><li>After 3 months service, a Tesco colleague discount card with 10% increasing to 15% off most purchases at Tesco for a 4 day period after every four-weekly pay day, ie. thirteen times a year.
