To take responsibility for the company van ensuring maintenance and servicing is carried out daily. Exceed customer expectations by providing the highest quality service both in and out of store.</p><p><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Plan and organise the collection and delivery of stock/furniture to the shop or customer address.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Collection and delivery of items from shops, warehouses, customer homes in a professional manner always.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;To ensure your vehicle is loaded with the correct stock and delivered to the correct location.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Handle manual tasks, including assisting the shop staff with moving large items of furniture, including up staircases and organising the sales floor to display the stock.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Provide shop cover as required by the shop manager, in the case of management absences planned or emergency, within reason.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Vehicles are always driven safely and professionally following the Highway Code.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Promote the shop and engage within the local community.</p><p><strong>Compliance Responsibilities</strong></p><p>All colleagues hold additional responsibilities regarding:<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Health &amp; Safety and Environment.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Safeguarding<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Data Protection<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Quality<br>You are expected and encouraged to raise and escalate appropriately any potential breaches or areas for improvement regarding the above.</p><p>The role is subject to a Basic DBS check.</p><p><strong>Environment</strong></p><p>TAAS is an inclusive working environment where Equality, Diversity and Human Rights are guiding principles, individuals are respected and a value of having a diverse workforce is recognised.
