<dt class="rm-fieldTitle">Description</dt><dd class="rm-fieldData"><p> </p><p><strong>Technical Manager - </strong><strong>High Street Retailer</strong></p><p><strong>Excellent salary &amp; package - DOE</strong></p><p><strong>London</strong></p><p> </p><p>An established High Street retailer established for its multi-product collections across menswear, womenswear and childrenswear is currently recruiting for a Technical Manager with strong multi-product technical and people management skills to head up their established technical team.</p><p> </p><p>As the Technical Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the technical team ensuring the best quality of garment and product is produced, implement the ethical and compliance business strategy delivering exceptional standards. You will be responsible for test reporting, supplier management, attending sourcing, development and compliance meetings in the UK and internationally, quality control and sourcing fabrics, trims, wash, yarns etc. As a valued member of the senior management team, you will report directly to the Product Director and work very closely with heads of departments across design, buying, operations and supply chain contributing to the brand's strategy.</p><p> </p><p>The ideal applicant must have previous technical management experience ideally working for a premium, high street or fashion brand, demonstrating outstanding ethical, compliance, sourcing, supplier management and garment construction skills. You must have previous people management experience with the ability to oversee and lead an established technical team, working closely with head of departments and stakeholders to drive brand strategy.
