<p><strong>Description</strong></p><p>We are hiring for a Midweight Photographer to join our fast-paced, in-house creative studio at Footasylum. This is a brilliant opportunity to help shape how our brand shows up across retail, digital, and social platforms — with product, people, and culture at the core of our visual storytelling. As a Midweight Photographer, you’ll work closely with a talented team of creatives — including stylists, retouchers, creatives, videographers, and producers — to create bold, high-impact content that resonates with our audience. From clean-cut product imagery to street-style lookbooks and campaign assets, you’ll play a key role in how we bring the Footasylum brand to life.</p><p><strong>The Team</strong></p><p>Our in-house studio is collaborative and hands-on. We also work closely with the Social, Marketing and Buying teams based at head office. Together we work hard, stay flexible, and thrive on fast-paced, ever-changing deadlines. We value development and our goal is to create a fun, supportive environment where your success drives ours.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>You will be shooting high-quality imagery across ecomm, social content and campaign.</li><li>You will be collaborating with stylists and art directors to execute creative briefs.</li><li>You will be shooting in both studio and location environments, adapting style as needed.</li><li>You will be assisting Lead and Senior photographers on Tier 1 campaigns.</li><li>You will ensure lighting, composition, and technical execution meet brand standards.</li><li>You will be assisting in post-production and maintaining consistent visual quality.</li><li>You will be staying on top of trends in photography, fashion, and youth culture to help push creative boundaries.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li>Solid experience (at least 2 years) in a photography role within fashion and retail.</li><li>A standout portfolio that shows versatility across product and lifestyle photography.</li><li>You’re comfortable on set and when directing models.</li><li>Strong understanding of lighting, studio equipment and creative direction.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.</li><li>Familiarity with post-production workflows using Capture One and Adobe Creative Suite.</li><li>Proficient with the use of Canon cameras, lenses and Profoto lighting.</li><li>A real passion for streetwear, style, and culture that aligns with the Footasylum brand.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Footasylum?</strong></p><p>We are one of the leading omni-channel retailers across the UK, but more than that we are a brilliant place to work.
