Responsible for dealing with employee queries quickly and effectively</p></div><!-- Responsibilities --><div><h3>What you'll be doing</h3><p style="margin:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;"><br></p><ul style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:10px;"><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">Acting as the first point of contact for all people queries and requests for administrative action or transactional activity</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">across the business.</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">Support the processing of key work activities, including:</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">job offers, internal transfers and leavers</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">&nbsp;references and DBS checks</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">&nbsp;letters, reports, photocopying, scanning and filing</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">&nbsp;keeping employee records up to date</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">processing subject access requests</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">administration of occupational health referrals</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">&nbsp;HR system records</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">Administration of reward and benefit processes</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">&nbsp;Co-ordinating the People Services email inboxes</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">Supporting line managers with note taking in investigation, discipline, grievance and appeal hearings to ensure they</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">are conducted in line with policy and legislation and attended to in a timely manner.</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">&nbsp;Supporting the People Support Team with key people projects and initiatives as required.</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;">&nbsp;Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, including Data Privacy.</li></ul><p style="margin:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;"><br></p><p style="margin:0px;font-size:inherit;padding:5px 0px;"><br></p></div><!-- Ideal Candidate --><div><h3>The role is for you if...</h3><ul style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:10px;"><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:20px;padding:0px;color:inherit;font-size:inherit;">&nbsp;Ability to analyse and evaluate data/information and use this to suggest improvements.&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:20px;padding:0px;color:inherit;font-size:inherit;">&nbsp;Excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:20px;padding:0px;color:inherit;font-size:inherit;">&nbsp;Ability to work independently and use own initiative.&nbsp;</li><li style="margin-top:0px;margin-right:0px;margin-bottom:20px;padding:0px;color:inherit;font-size:inherit;">&nbsp;Strong verbal &amp;
