This comprises of a mix of newversions of previous Prime bestsellers but also driving newness and focusing oncategories where Outlet out performs the Prime range due to us having ayounger, wider customer base. </span><span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span><b>Responsibilities:</b></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b><span>Supporting the Design function in:</span></b></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"></p><ul><li><span>Designing and developing a fullrange of with direction from the Senior Designer and Head of Design.</span></li><li>Researching all areas needed todesign a commercial balanced range such as current and previous sales figures,seasonality, trend and yarn development.</li><li>Presenting range to management atsketch review.</li><li>Responsible for creation ofhighly accurate design packs and liaison with supply base to ensure samples aredelivered on time <span> </span><span> </span></li><li>Ensure Crew Clothing Core rangesand continuity product are relevant and commercial and update where needed. <span> </span></li></ul><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast"><span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b><span>Key Accountabilities: </span></b></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst"></p><ul><li><span>Accountable for the ownership ofkey areas within menswear outlet.</span></li><li>Accountable for hitting allcritical path deadlines and ensuring a full range of samples for sign off.</li><li>Following the seasonal processfrom concept to product handover.</li><li>Attend first fittings for all therange to ensure design intent is met</li><li>Strong teamwork across the designfunction as well as working closely with Buying, Merchandising and Techteams.<span> </span></li><li>Proactively finding all sales andbrand knowledge needed to build a balanced range</li><li>Accountable for bringing a highlevel of creativity</li></ul><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><span></span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"><b><span>Cross-functional working:</span></b><span> </span></p><p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle"></p><ul><li><span>Working with the options given byMerchandising and understanding the range balance.</span></li><li>Work with buying teams to build acommercial range and understand range balance within the context of the totalbusiness.</li><li>Collaboratively working with techteams in fits to make sure quality is excellent and design intent is met.</li><li>Professionally raising concernsover issues that might arise over all areas of product development withsuppliers / factories or the internal team to your line manager to seek toresolve</li><li>Working with the rest of thedesign team on joint projects and ranges as well as any departmental jobs tohelp the department run smoothly.</li><li>Reacting to sales and workinginto OTB efficiently alongside the Buying teams & the Head of design toensure in season opportunities are taken</li><li>Leading by example of deadlineachievement, professional cross-functional liaison, fresh thinking and proventrack record of sales success.</li></ul><div><b>Skills & Experience:</b> </div><p class="MsoNormal"></p><ul><li><span>A minimum of 1 years experiencein a similar brand, or comparable retailer, work at a Design Assistant capacity</span></li><li>Able to demonstrate relevantprofessional experience/professional or academic qualifications</li><li>Ability to influence &communicate effectively, with excellent people skills</li><li>Computer literate (AdobeIllustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel)</li><li>Understanding of knitted garment construction,pattern cutting and finishing</li><li><span>Excellent eye for detail andquality</span></li></ul></div></div><!----><!---->
