<dt class="rm-fieldTitle">Description</dt><dd class="rm-fieldData"><p><strong>International Retail Director</strong></p><p><strong>Location: </strong>London</p><p><strong>Sector: </strong>Consumer Electronics</p><p><strong>Excellent base salary + 20% Bonus + Equity + Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Description:</strong></p><p>Zachary Daniels are delighted to be supporting this award-winning global business in the appointment of a dynamic International Retail Director.</p><p>As an experienced and dynamic <strong>International Retail Director</strong> your role will be to spearhead the growth and expansion of our clients retail business across key international markets.</p><p>This pivotal role will be responsible for managing existing strategic retail relationships and identifying new opportunities to significantly expand our clients presence and revenue outside of North America.</p><p>If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and have a proven track record of scaling consumer goods businesses internationally, we want to hear from you.</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p> Extensive experience scaling consumer goods businesses internationally, with a strong preference for consumer electronics or hardware.</p><p> Proven track record of selling consumer hardware; candidates with only SaaS sales experience will not be a fit.</p><p> Deep market knowledge of the international consumer retail landscape.</p><p> Established relationships with international retailers, distributors, third-party partners, agencies, and merchandising/display companies within the retail vertical.</p><p> Experience working with distributors, contractors, and agencies to achieve retail objectives.</p><p> Experience working with retailers in multiple countries, particularly across EMEA and APAC regions.</p><p> Exceptional negotiation skills with a history of securing favourable terms.</p><p> Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset coupled with a hands-on approach to execution.</p><p> Ability to operate with autonomy and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset.</p><p> Demonstrated ability to manage financial planning and budgeting, with a keen understanding of retail-specific KPIs.</p><p> A good understanding of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process is crucial.</p><p> Effective communicator capable of articulating company strategy, results, and performance to executive leadership.</p><p> Strong understanding of Amazon and its operational functions is highly desired.</p><p> Years of Experience: 12+ cumulative years of experience, with 2-4 years in a similar leadership role and capacity.</p><p> Technical Abilities: Proficiency with EDI, general business tools (e.g., Microsoft Suite, Google Suite), and an understanding of retailer-specific reporting tools and terminology.</p><p>* Willingness to travel internationally as needed</p><p><strong>BBBH33938</strong></p></dd>
