<h2>About the role</h2><p>Business growth and a Management structure means we are we are delighted to be able to recruit 3 new members to the management team at Thamesmead DC&nbsp;</p><p>Warehouse Team Managers support the site management team in the efficient and cost effective management of the warehouse operations.&nbsp;</p><p>It will be your responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the daily Warehouse operation and enable the required level of service to be provided to the customer at all times.</p><h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><p>You will ensure that the receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of Goods in the correct manner to agreed productivity levels and within budgetary constraints, whilst maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.</p><h2>You will need</h2><p>To be successful in this role you’ll have working knowledge of the Warehouse function within the FMCG distribution industry as well as working knowledge of the business and operational aspects of supervising a depot Warehouse operation. General knowledge of the Transport function would be an advantage.</p><p>As you will be leading a team of warehouse operatives, you’ll have excellent communication skills and have the ability to manage &amp; train colleagues.
