<h3 class="theme-panel-header text-2xl pb-6 theme-vacancy-section-title">About this amazing opportunity</h3><p><strong><em>We are at the forefront of a competitive retail sector, providing amazing value to millions of customers every week, with a National and International store base in the UK, Ireland.</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>We have an immediate position available for a Stock Control Clerk to join our team here at the Wigan Distribution Centre.</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>2 Week Rota</em></strong></p><p><strong><u>W1 - Thursday - Saturday</u></strong></p><p>06:00 - 18:00</p><p><strong><u>W2 - Wednesday - Saturday</u></strong></p><p>06:00 - 18:00</p><p><strong><em>Job Role:</em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Control of audits of goods in paperwork to ensure process is followed, responding to account payable claims.</strong></li><li><strong>Ensuring warehouse layout is utilised efficiently within product categories including putaway algorithms and pick sequence.</strong></li><li><strong>Maximise the use of reports on report manager / JDA solutions and Oracle to keep KPI targets in line for net adjustments and full cyclical counts of the warehouse</strong></li><li><strong>Control of short dated / QA and aged stock, liaising with trading and buying teams.</strong></li><li><strong>Quality checking / Spot Checking picked pallets, within set targets and recording of information.</strong></li><li><strong>Liaising with other internal / external departments including control of offsite storage delivery and return</strong></li><li><strong>Reporting of weekly / monthly stats including participation in projects within stock control.</strong></li><li><strong>Work closely with the warehouse teams to support and grow sharing knowledge to help improve performances.</strong></li><li><strong>previous stock control experience is essential.</strong></li></ul><ul><li><strong>You will have experience working with IT systems and ideally you need to be used to a fast-paced working environment.
