With sustained investment, multiple operational sites, and a growing portfolio of contracts, the finance function is a key driver of commercial success and you'll be central to it.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>The Role</strong></p><p style="font-weight: 400;">This role sits at the heart of the business - providing robust, actionable financial support to stakeholders across multiple sites and departments. You'll report directly to a highly experienced, commercially focused Financial Controller, and work closely with an inspirational Finance Director who's committed to developing and empowering their team.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;">You'll also benefit from one of the best onboarding programmes we've seen - complete with tailored leadership development courses, including modules hosted in sunny international locations.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style="font-weight: 400;"><li>Own multiple P&amp;Ls across a diverse project portfolio</li><li>Deliver month-end reporting, journals (including payroll), accruals, and prepayments</li><li>Maintain and track fixed assets and depreciation schedules</li><li>Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across projects and departments</li><li>Partner with Facilities and Site Managers to identify and drive commercial improvements</li><li>Support the delivery of the quarterly Board Pack, including commentary and analysis</li><li>Deliver the annual sector performance review across key customer categories</li><li>Contribute to the development of FP&amp;A models and reporting enhancements</li><li>Work closely with the wider finance team to support transformation and system improvements</li></ul><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>About You</strong></p><ul style="font-weight: 400;"><li>You are a Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)</li><li>Experience working in a project-based, manufacturing, engineering, or contract-led environment</li><li>Confident managing multiple P&amp;Ls and balancing operational demands</li><li>Hands-on experience with month-end, payroll journals, and fixed assets</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across sites and departments</li><li>Commercial mindset with a desire to make finance a true business partner</li><li>Proactive, organised, and confident using Excel and ERP systems</li></ul><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>What's on Offer:</strong></p><ul style="font-weight: 400;"><li>Up to £55,000 Salay (DOE)</li><li>5% Bonus, 5% Pension + Salary sacrifice car scheme</li><li>Join a forward-thinking finance team in a high-growth, PE-backed business</li><li>Work under inspiring leadership who actively invest in people and progression</li><li>Gain exposure to strategic decision-making, commercial partnering, and board-level insight</li><li>Enjoy a hybrid working pattern and a team culture that values autonomy and development</li><li>Benefit from a world-class onboarding experience and leadership development training in international locations</li></ul><p style="font-weight: 400;">Zachary Daniels and our client are both equal opportunity employers.
