<div>We are hiring! We are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to partner the Distribution and Installations functions. The successful candidate will take ownership of costs / relationships / month end / budgeting relating to HDC/SDC/MCFC & Installations.  Working pattern: Tuesday on site in Watford & Thursday on site in Northampton. The rest of the week is wfh. Key Responsibilities:<ul style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 9pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Business partner to the Distribution & Installation teams providing financial analysis, support and challenge</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Ownership of costs / month end relating to HDC/SDC/MCFC & Installations. Support non 3rd party Wincanton & Ascensos costs when required.</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Ownership of budgeting/forecasting relating to HDC/SDC/MCFC & Installations</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Proactively working with Business Partners to improve knowledge, drive greater operational efficiency, and increase profitability</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Providing insightful reporting to help shape and deliver strategies of the wider business</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Complete weekly flash reporting where required to ensure appropriate actions are taken in a timely fashion</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Driving a cost conscious and lean culture providing relevant ad-hoc analysis and insight to drive bottom line profit</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Managing and developing one financial analyst</li></ul> What are we looking for:<ul style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 700; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Recognised accountancy qualifications (ACA, CIMA,  ACCA or equivalent) (Essential)</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Broad finance experience (Retail / FMCG experience preferred)</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Ability to challenge , engage and influence internal and external stakeholders</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Building and maintaining relationships with others to include key stakeholders and non-Finance team members</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Strong communication skills</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Experience of working to tight timescales and consistently meeting deadlines</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Proven record of implementing and maintaining robust financial controls</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Through understanding of Distribution</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">High attention to detail and data accuracy</li><li dir="ltr" style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; list-style-type: disc; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre;">Excel skills</li></ul> What can we offer you: You’ll be supported with fantastic learning and development and have the opportunity to grow and develop your career with us.
