As a Senior Planning Team Leader, you will play a key role in optimising operational planning processes, supporting the delivery of over 30,000 solid surface worktops each year—contributing to £90 million in annual sales. Your leadership will directly influence our manufacturing strategy and enhance the overall customer experience.</p><p><strong>Location |</strong>&nbsp;Normanton (On Site)</p><p><strong>Contract Type |</strong>&nbsp;Full-Time, Permanent</p><p><strong>Shift |</strong>&nbsp;Monday - Friday, one week 9am-5pm, one week 8am-4pm</p><p><strong>What Will You Be Doing as a Senior Planning Team Leader:</strong></p><p>As a Senior Planning Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading and mentoring a planning team to deliver high-level strategic and operational performance. Reporting to senior management, you'll manage two Team Leaders and oversee around 40 indirect reports across planning and repricing functions.</p><p><strong>You will:</strong></p><p>Lead the development and execution of effective planning strategies to support service delivery and operational goals</p><ul><li>Drive the achievement of KPIs and SLAs through effective team leadership and resource allocation</li><li>Coach and develop Planning and Repricing Team Leaders, supporting their professional growth</li><li>Facilitate collaboration between planning, service, field, and sales teams to deliver seamless project execution</li><li>Build and manage relationships with depots, field teams, builders, and end users</li><li>Conduct performance reviews and provide data-driven insights to senior leadership</li><li>Lead regular team meetings, promote continuous improvement, and proactively resolve issues</li><li>Identify risks to planning efficiency and develop solutions to maintain operational timelines and quality standards</li></ul><p><strong>What Do You Need to Qualify for the Senior Planning Team Leader Role:</strong></p><p>To succeed in this role, you’ll need to bring a blend of planning expertise, people management, and commercial awareness.
