<div data-v-0e62ab25="" class="flex xs12"><div data-v-0e62ab25=""><p id="isPasted">Working in our YMCA Community &amp; Activity Village in Newark, we are looking for a Receptionist to join our team working on a casual basis.&nbsp;</p><p>With the nature of a casual contract, we would look for you to be flexible and be available to work evenings and weekends where required, mostly on a rota basis in advance but able to cover at short notice if needed.</p><p>As a frontline member of our team, you will be working in the Village alongside our visitors, guests, and other members of YMCA staff. You will be a friendly and approachable member of the team, happy to help in any way you can.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>On a day-to-day basis you will:</strong></p><ul><li>You will be the first point of contact, handling any issues that may arise from customers and will have the ability to remain calm during busy periods whilst multi-tasking to ensure the best service for our customers</li></ul><ul type="disc"><li>Support Community &amp; Activity Village staff by performing daily admin roles and to keep all supplies for the Village facilities stocked, such as stationary and promotional materials</li><li>Provide assistance and enhance the customer experience for all, building excellent relationships with customers</li><li>Support and assist any activities taking place at the Community &amp; Activity Village based on the needs of the individuals on site</li><li>Perform a wide variety of reception and administrative duties including bookings for the Community &amp; Activity Village, handling of money, answering phone calls, data-entry, printing, filing duties and compliance checks</li><li>Act as key holder as required, opening &amp; closing parts of the Community &amp; Activity Village for users</li><li>Actively promote the YMCA membership and deliver tours of the facilities to members of the public</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>About You</strong></p><p>You will enjoy working as part of a team, dividing up all the jobs to be completed that day but able to work to your own too.</p><p>Most important to us is your passion and commitment to join our team.</p><p>If you are looking to work for an organisation who cares about you and your wellbeing, the YMCA prides itself on the package of wellbeing we support all our employees.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Please note, you must be over 18 to apply for this role. &nbsp;This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service.
