<dt class="rm-fieldTitle">Description</dt><dd class="rm-fieldData"><p><strong><span class="">BUYER | NORTH WEST | FASHION RETAILER | HYBRID | SALARY £40,000 - £45,000</span></strong></p><ul class=""><li class="">Competitive Salary DOE £</li><li class="">Car Allowance</li><li class="">25 days holiday + Bank Holidays</li><li class="">Hybrid working </li><li class="">Flexi hours </li></ul><p><span class="">You will need to be an experienced Buyer who has a proven track record of working well under pressure, the ability to lead & inspire their team whilst also executing ambitious strategies throughout each season.</span><br class=""><span class="">In this role you will explore your love for product whilst being a part of a creative & collaborative environment. </span><br class=""><br class=""><span class="">AS THE BUYER:</span></p><ul class=""><li class="">You will have developed Buyers Admin Assistants, Assistant Buyers or Junior Buyers through challenging and nurturing them in their roles to achieve promotions & key career highlights </li><li class="">Examples of reviewing ways of working and improving efficiencies </li><li class="">Range Building is critical </li><li class="">On boarding new suppliers </li><li class="">Supplier strategy</li><li class="">Supplier visits </li><li class="">Multi - product background is essential </li></ul><p><span class="">RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:</span></p><ul class=""><li class="">Building lessons learnt presentations for your Head of's & Directors</li><li class="">Clear ability to communicate Best & Worst indicators and building strategy points from these learnings with the wider, more junior members of the team </li><li class="">Challenging and holding your direct reports accountable for the running & trading their own sub- categories</li><li class="">Ensuring daily that your team feel motivated and supported with all tasks </li><li class="">Review and build clear pricing architectures with merchandisers</li><li class="">Plan with your Merchandiser all buys</li><li class="">Build well-balanced ranges </li><li class="">Ability to identify gaps within all ranges and capitalise on new opportunities</li><li class="">Encourage junior members of the team to react to sales, always looking to make money for the business with new product </li><li class="">Review colour, prints, shapes whilst protecting best sellers but at all times introducing newness to keep ranges moving forward </li><li class="">Experience with trading from the Far East and closer to home (short & long lead) is essential</li><li class="">Maintain supplier relationships whilst onboarding new suppliers to the business </li><li class="">Ability to source new fabrics and trims as well as having experience sourcing more sustainable fabrications </li><li class="">Experience of test and trial methods to drive newness and profit for your department</li><li class="">Reputable trading performance at margin level and cash sales </li><li class="">Experienced with OTB and seasonal budget management with your merchandiser </li><li class="">Ability to dive into historical and new data for your department so that commercial decisions can be made from a trading point of view </li><li class="">Manage Monday Trade reports and key actions for your department to take </li><li class="">Ability to oversee the wider team for critical path and delivery schedule</li><li class="">Manage and communicate any stock issues, delays, cancellations with the full team</li><li class="">Manage and prepare for all product launches via the critical path you set for your entire department </li><li class="">Manage campaign and trigger dates to ensure key styles launch on time successfully </li><li class="">Work closely with Merchandiser to plan and prepare forecasting and projections for any volume programmes</li><li class="">Conduct cross costing projects to protect and increase margin</li><li class="">Attend trend and design meetings with internal & external stakeholders</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>BBBH33362</strong></p></dd>
