<dt class="rm-fieldTitle">Description</dt><dd class="rm-fieldData"><p><strong>Accessories &amp; Footwear Technologist - Fashion Retailer</strong></p><p><strong>London</strong></p><p> </p><p>An established fashion retailer renowned globally for its menswear, womenswear and childrenswear ranges is currently recruiting for an Accessories and Footwear Technologist with strong multi-product experience to join their established technical team. </p><p> </p><p>As an Accessories &amp; Footwear Technologist you will be a valued part of the technical team responsible for ensuring measurement and construction details for design &amp; development packs are advised correctly to facilitate production of prototype samples. Working in collaboration with the in-house design, buying and merchandising teams you will measure and fit samples during the development process, inputting, updating and monitoring the critical path, assessing and approving bulk fabric &amp; components. You will work closely with external suppliers and overseas factories ensuring any technical issues are resolved along with assessing product test and chemical compliance requirements.</p><p> </p><p>The ideal applicant must have exceptional Footwear and Accessories Technologist experience working at an established level for a high street retailer, premium or lifestyle brand. Demonstrating strong technical skills with extensive knowledge of fitting, UK and European grading and footwear construction is highly essential, along with the ability to manage out-sole and last development.
