This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where you'll play a key part in driving both operational and strategic financial performance at site level.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="444" data-end="692">Working closely with the General Manager and the wider UK&amp;I Finance leadership team, you'll be responsible for everything from financial control and reporting to budgeting, forecasting, and delivering insight that shapes smarter business decisions.</p><p style="font-weight: 400;" data-start="694" data-end="980">You'll also be joining a team that genuinely values your input, encourages fresh ideas, and is passionate about making a difference. "I want us to agree a checklist for the year, and I'll give them free rein to go about it however they see fit" - FD of UK&amp;I</p><p style="font-weight: 400;"> </p><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>The Role</strong></p><ul style="font-weight: 400;"><li>Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting</li><li>Deliver robust management accounts with clear variance analysis and commentary</li><li>Own the budgeting and forecasting cycle in partnership with local and group leadership</li><li>Provide financial modelling and decision support for strategic initiatives and investment cases</li><li>Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost efficiency across the site</li><li>Ensure strong compliance with financial policies, controls, and audit standards</li><li>Act as a business partner to operational leaders, translating financial data into actionable insights</li><li>Manage and develop a small team of finance professionals, fostering capability and growth</li><li>Serve as the finance lead for the site, working closely with both local and UK&amp;I leadership</li></ul><p style="font-weight: 400;"> </p><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>About You</strong></p><ul style="font-weight: 400;"><li>Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)</li><li>5+ years of progressive finance experience including both financial control and FP&amp;A</li><li>Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial acumen</li><li>Excellent Excel and financial systems proficiency</li><li>Able to lead, challenge, and influence cross-functional stakeholders</li><li>Proactive and hands-on with a continuous improvement mindset</li><li>Experience in healthcare, clinical, or multi-site environments is advantageous</li></ul><p style="font-weight: 400;"> </p><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>What's on Offer</strong></p><ul style="font-weight: 400;"><li>Salary of £65,000 - £75,000 depending on experience</li><li>25 days holiday</li><li>5% Pension</li><li>Healthcare</li><li>Opportunity to make a genuine impact in a purpose-driven healthcare organisation</li><li>Autonomy and influence in a senior site-level leadership role</li><li>Collaboration with local and national teams within a growing group</li><li>Office-based role, offering visibility, variety, and close connection to the operational heartbeat of the business</li></ul><p style="font-weight: 400;"> </p><p style="font-weight: 400;">Zachary Daniels and our client are both equal opportunity employers.
