Whether it's through creating the UK's first compostable coffee pods, our plastic-free packaging or carbon-free shipping - we're on a mission to be the world's most sustainable coffee company.</span></p><p><span>In 2023, we created our charity, the Better Coffee Foundation, to undo the damage done by the global coffee industry - in our first year, we recovered 43 million pods' worth of ocean-bound plastic.</span></p><br><p><span>A bit about the role.</span></p><p><span>We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable specialist to help manage a growing volume of transactions, ensure timely collections, and maintain strong client relationships. This role is critical to supporting our cash flow, improving financial accuracy, and contributing to the efficiency of our end-to-end billing process and is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing, fast-paced team.</span></p><p><span>Role responsibilities.</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Raise sales invoices and credit memos in line with sales orders across the UK and USA</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work closely with the finance manager to monitor the application of sales taxes</span></p></li><li><p><span>Responsible for onboarding new customers into the CRM system&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Responsible for administrating pricing changes in our sales software&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Oversee upload of invoices/proof of delivery onto customer portals to enable payment</span></p></li><li><p><span>Reconcile and review customer accounts on the accounts receivable ledger</span></p></li><li><p><span>Allocation of cash receipts to remittances in the accounting system</span></p></li><li><p><span>Monitor the accounts receivable email inbox and answer/action emails</span></p></li><li><p><span>Liaise directly with customers by email and phone to resolve disputes and queries</span></p></li><li><p><span>Assist in calculating the month-end bad debt provision</span></p></li></ul><br><p><span>You’ll have.</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Proficiency in financial software and accounting tools</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records</span></p></li><li><p><span>Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions and team collaboration</span></p></li><li><p><span>Problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex payment discrepancies</span></p></li><li><p><span>Exceptional organisational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proficiency in data analysis and report generation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance position</span></p></li></ul><br><p><span>Bonus if you have…</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Working knowledge of Xero accounting software&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Working knowledge of CIN7 inventory management system&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices and sales tax application in the United Kingdom and the United States of America&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul><br><p><span>Diversity and Inclusion.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span>Grind is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
