<div class="mx-auto max-w-[750px] prose font-company-body overflow-hidden break-words [&amp;olli_li]:list-[lower-alpha]" data-controller="careersite--responsive-video"><p>Creating original and innovative luxury soft toys, Jellycat combines luxurious fabrics with quirky and cute designs and sells its products online and via stockists throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.</p><p>We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Control Manager to join our Finance team responsible for the UK region. As the Credit Control Manager - UK, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our credit control processes specifically tailored to our UK customer base. Reporting directly to the Senior Credit Control Manager, you will play a critical role in managing credit risk, optimizing cash flow, and maintaining positive relationships with our customers and internal stakeholders. </p><p><strong>You'll be;</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Develop and implement credit control strategies tailored to the UK, EU, and ROW regions to optimize cash flow and minimize credit risk/ debtor days. </li><li>Lead and mentor a team of credit control managers and controllers, providing guidance and support in managing customer accounts and resolving payment issues. </li><li>Monitor and analyse payment trends and customer behaviours, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement. </li><li>Monitor credit risk exposure and implement risk mitigation measures. </li><li>Collaborate closely with sales, customer services, operations, and legal teams to resolve complex credit issues and negotiate payment terms when necessary. </li><li>Ensure maintenance of accurate records of credit transactions and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers. </li><li>Ensure successful implementation of new ERP to support automation within the credit control and accounts receivable function. </li><li>Stay informed about relevant regulations and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with legal and financial standards.</li></ul><p><strong><strong>You'll have;</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience (3+ years) in Credit Control management within a wholesale or distribution environment, with a track record of success in managing large-scale credit portfolios. </li><li>Strong understanding of financial principles, credit risk assessment techniques, and credit management best practices. </li><li>Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coach and motivate a team. </li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results. </li><li>Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, both verbal and written. </li><li>A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in managing financial data and transactions. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems is preferred. </li><li>A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications such as ACCA or CICM are advantageous. </li><li>Witten and spoken fluency in English. Further&nbsp;languages is always a plus!</li></ul></div>
