You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business priorities and deliver commercially smart, operationally effective solutions. This role also involves managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts that drive cost savings and improve overall efficiency.</p></div></div><div class="earcuposdescription"><div class="earcuposdescriptiontitle">The Role</div><div class="earcuposdescriptionnote"><p><span style="font-family: 'open sans', sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li data-start="294" data-end="451">Support the delivery of strategic sourcing initiatives across retail and supply chain categories, contributing to cost savings and improved supplier value.</li><li data-start="454" data-end="587">Analyse spend reports and supplier data to identify savings opportunities and ensure alignment with budget and business objectives.</li><li data-start="590" data-end="723">Assist in the end-to-end procurement process including supplier selection, running RFPs, negotiating terms, and drafting contracts.</li><li data-start="726" data-end="876">Work closely with internal teams to understand their requirements and help develop procurement solutions that meet operational and commercial needs.</li><li data-start="879" data-end="1004">Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and contribute to managing risk and maintaining compliance standards.</li><li data-start="1007" data-end="1117">Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement.</li></ul><p><span style="font-family: 'open sans', sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;"><strong>Location:</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family: 'open sans', sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our Burton Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office</span></p><p> </p></div></div><div class="earcuposdescription"><div class="earcuposdescriptiontitle">The Person</div><div class="earcuposdescriptionnote"><p><span style="font-family: 'open sans', sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;"><strong>Key Requirements:</strong></span></p><ul><li>Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation capabilities are required for this role from both an internal and external perspective.</li><li> Developing relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to drive effective commercial change is extremely important for this position</li><li>Analytical Skills: There is a large amount of raw data associated with this position (internally in the form of spend reports and contractual databases), therefore the ability to understand current spending partners, supplier products and services, and contractual positions is important for candidates to show experience of.
