People are at the heart of our retail concept, and we want to invest in our staff and make the future extraordinary.</p><p>As a result of our success and ongoing expansion plans the Range are opening a brand-new Distribution Centre, the largest warehouse built in over 5-years, in Stowmarket, Gateway14 Freeport,&nbsp; just 2 minutes of A14 J50.</p><p>This investment creates great opportunities and we are currently seeking a Maintenance Colleague.</p><p><strong>Position:&nbsp;</strong>Permanent, Full Time</p><p><strong>Hours:&nbsp;</strong>40 per week Monday – Friday. Working hours will be 8.00 am to 4.30 pm, occasionally start and finish times may change to meet operational requirements</p><p><strong>Pay Rate :&nbsp;</strong>Excellent salary based on experience.</p><p><strong>What does the role entail?</strong></p><span><ul><li>Respond to emergency repairs on site.</li><li>Undertaking running repairs, maintenance and decoration as required.</li><li>Basic carpentry, joinery, ironmongery (such as changing locks, hinges)</li><li>Basic plumbing – sinks and toilets etc.</li><li>Some basic electrical work changing sockets, bulbs etc.</li><li>Basic racking repairs</li><li>Following schedule as outlined by the facilities management team.</li><li>Regular audit of risk assessment method statements</li><li>Regular audit of tool kit, and stock take of small consumables needed for the role.</li><li>Utility monitoring as required.</li><li>Conducting other reasonable tasks as directed by management to meet the operational requirements of the site.</li><li>Routine facilities and health and safety checks as identified by Health and Safey and Facilities Manager.</li><li>Assist with project work as required.</li><li>Demonstrate and uphold the highest standards of Health and Safety in all aspects of work undertaken.</li><li>Identifying the most cost-effective sources of consumable and materials that may be required.</li><li>Assist with compilation of Risk Assessment Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of work for the tasks to be performed.</li></ul></span><p><strong>What skills &amp; experience do we seek?</strong></p><span><ul><li>Experience of repair work</li><li>Knowledge of maintenance procedures in a warehouse environment</li><li>Knowledge og UK H&amp;S Legislation anf Statutory compliance</li><li>Carpentry, electrical or plumbing qualification desirable</li><li>Working at height experience desirable</li></ul></span><p><strong>What’s in it for you?</strong></p><span><ul><li>Excellent salary based on experience and qualifications.</li><li>28 days annual holiday including bank holidays.</li><li>Canteen heavily subsidized.</li><li>Gym on site, free to employees.</li><li>Free on-site parking.</li><li>Electrical charge units available.</li><li>Bike parking secure and undercover along with cycle to work funding scheme.</li><li>Staff discount in The Range stores plus other shops &amp; stores.</li></ul></span><p><strong>Closing date is 31st May 2025</strong></p>
