<p><strong>Description</strong></p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Ecommerce UX &amp; Delivery team, across one of the most exciting retail businesses in the UK. Reporting into the Head of UX and Digital Delivery you will be responsible for delivering our exciting digital roadmap projects and provide technical support for Web and App requests. You’ll be collaborating with a well-established UX and Front-End Development delivery team with experience in delivering in a fast-paced agile environment, consisting of UX researchers, designers, developers, data analysts, UX executives and project managers. </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Youwill execute our technical roadmap developments, advanced experiments andexperiences using HTML5, SCSS, Tailwind, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js,TypeScript and RESTful APIs.</li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill collaborate with our existing development team to support large scaledevelopments, continuous improvements, and day-to-day updates. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill build reusable components and libraries for future use, followingbest practices and coding standards. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill work exceptionally close with our UX team to deliver technicalrequirements for our web projects, experimentation and personalisationroadmap. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill work with design systems like Figma to ensure consistent anduser-friendly UI/UX. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill develop key landing and campaign pages. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill innovate and maintain our headless responsive modules. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill use our New CMS to develop, build and improve content modules. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill work with our Technical Analyst to develop and support with trackingoptimisations. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill coordinate with our digital platform and hosting suppliers to assistwith technical tickets. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill provide technical support across all teams with Web &amp; Apprequests. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill use extensive QA of technical projects prior to release. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill liaise with our IT &amp; infrastructure teams to deliver combinedprojects. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and ensurethat solutions are secure, scalable and performant. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill research current best practices and make recommendations forimprovements and technical innovation. </li></ul><ul> <li>Youwill also have the opportunity to mentor Junior Front-End Developers. </li></ul><p><strong>You’ll also bring:</strong></p><ul> <li>3+years of professional experience in large-scale front-end softwaredevelopment in an agile environment. </li></ul><ul> <li>Proficientin React.js &amp; TypeScript, with a solid understanding of core concepts,writing modular, maintainable, re-usable and well-typed code. </li></ul><ul> <li>Familiaritywith Node.js, especially for server-side rendering and backendcommunication. </li></ul><ul> <li>Experiencein integrating RESTful APIs into Frontend projects &amp; applications. </li></ul><ul> <li>Experiencewith A/B testing, experimentation, and personalisation software such asMonetate.</li></ul><ul> <li>Provenexperience with version control workflows &amp; CI/CD platforms(Buddy.works or similar). </li></ul><ul> <li>Proficientin implementing responsive, cross-browser UI’s and optimising developmentfor maximum performance across devices. </li></ul><ul> <li>Excellentecommerce knowledge with a strong understanding of web standards,accessibility, SEO, and best practices. </li></ul><ul> <li>Strongproblem-solving skills and ability to overcome development and technicalissues. </li></ul><ul> <li>Strongsense of code quality and contributing to coding standards. </li></ul><ul> <li>Abilityto recommend and communicate ideas. </li></ul><ul> <li>Abilityto react quickly based on data or trading information. </li></ul><ul> <li>Ableto work independently and as part of an extremely collaborative team. </li></ul><p><strong>Why Footasylum?</strong></p><p>We are one of the leading omni-channel retailers across the UK, but more than that we are a brilliant place to work.
