People are at the heart of our retail concept, and we want to invest in our staff and make the future extraordinary.</p><p> </p><p>As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Credit Control Manager to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.</p><p> </p><p>Reporting to the Management Accountants, this role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our credit control function, maximise potential revenue whilst working on various projects around process improvements efficiencies and cost saving exercises.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p> </p><span><ul><li>Oversee the full credit control process from start to finish.</li><li>Take charge of recovering outstanding payments</li><li>Assist with the month-end billing procedures</li><li>Perform reconciliations for debtor control accounts and intercompany balances</li><li>Manage provisions for bad debts</li><li>Maximising supplier turnover rebates</li><li>Analyze revenue from Kitchen and Café operations.</li><li>Support and challenge credit card chargebacks</li><li>Oversee purchase ledger payments, terms & supplier discounts.</li><li>Continuously improve processes for efficiency and cost savings.</li><li>Provide monthly debtor analysis to senior management</li><li>Support the preparation of month-end processes and assist with the year-end audit.</li><li>Other tasks as required</li></ul></span><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;"> </p><p><strong>Person Specification:</strong></p><p> </p><p>This is a demanding role in a fast paced environment.
