Since opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, we've expanded across the city with cafés, coffee shops, trucks, and a state-of-the-art coffee roastery. Whether it’s through sourcing avocado peel straws and recycled material containers on site, creating the UK’s first home-compostable coffee pods, or using 100% plastic-free packaging, we want to be the world’s most sustainable coffee company.&nbsp; We set up our own charity, the Better Coffee Foundation®, to undo the damage caused by the global coffee industry by recovering ocean-bound plastic with every coffee pod, iced coffee can, and cup of coffee we sell.</span></p><br><p><span>A bit about the role.</span></p><p><span>This is a great opportunity for a passionate and aspiring bartender, looking to join and progress in a fast-paced restaurant group.&nbsp; Evenings at Grind offer a variety of classics, coffee cocktails and guest cocktails. We’re all about creating a buzzing atmosphere by turning up the tunes, dimming the lights and serving the best espresso martini in Manchester! We are looking for energetic night owls to join the Grind Crew in our new Central Manchester location!</span></p><p><span>As a barback, you will be responsible for supporting the bar team in ensuring they have everything they need to operate the bar. You will need strong organisational skills, work well under pressure and enjoy working in a very busy work environment.
